In this deeply personal reflection on Parashat Beha’alotecha, I write about finding strength in overwhelming times, praying for healing for those I love, and the sacred call to create communities of dignity, blessing, and belonging during Pride Month.
Bamidbar
Illuminating Choices, Strengthening Each Other
This week’s double Torah portion, Matot–Masei, invites us to reflect on the power of our choices and the sacredness of our journeys. From the request to settle outside the Promised Land to the detailed recounting of the Israelites’ travels, we are reminded that every step we take—and every decision we make—shapes not only our own path but the path of those who travel with us.
At the Mountain:
As Shavuot approaches, we stand at the sacred intersection of Parashat Bamidbar and the culmination of the Omer journey. In this week’s post, I share two prayers—Journey to the Mountain and Journey Toward Revelation—along with journaling prompts and reflections on what it means to be counted, to be called, and to receive Torah anew.
