Artist, Liturgist, and Cantorial Soloist, Zenspirations® founder Joanne Fink uses visual creativity to build and inspire community. A member of the Women Cantors’ Network and Neshama Association of Jewish Chaplains, Joanne offers Artist-in-Residencies to communities across the globe.
An award-winning designer, teacher, inspirational speaker and best-selling author with more than one million books in print, Joanne started her career designing greeting cards and Ketubot (Jewish Wedding Contracts) and in 1991 helped found the American Guild of Judaic Art. After her husband, Andy Trattner, died in 2011, Joanne became a grief educator and widow mentor, and today she walks in three worlds: grief, faith and creativity.
Currently Joanne is working on two exciting projects: ZenScribe, an art and certificate resource for Jewish communal professionals, and her next book, Journey Towards the Light, that will feature illustrations and prayers for each of the 54 Torah portions. Both will launch in 2025. Joanne will also be offering a series of workshops based on her book, My Spiritual Journey, a guided journal designed to help readers set and implement intentions to fulfill their personal purpose at this point in their life’s journey.
